About

“A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Margaret Mead

There’s nothing better than a good debate. Debate is something that happens in Ireland wherever and whenever the chance occurs. We decided to build a website to try and facilitate this notion after seeing how the Irish Minister for Transport was able to engage with the public during a recent video conference on “Smarter Travel”.

Every ‘visible’ video session on this website has been provided at no charge by the speakers, by our technology providers www.onlinemeetingrooms.com and now thankfully by Youtube.com

There is no political agenda or affiliation to any political party.

All speakers on any subject are welcome. We set up a video conferencing channel for you with http://www.onlinemeetingrooms.com we  record the debate for you, after some post production we upload the video to Youtube for you to share. You then have the opportunity to use the video to embed in your own website or blog too.

Private Debates (closed to the public) are also available in multiple formats. For more information.

We also have a Facebook page and a twitter account .

You can read about the conference here http://www.onlinemeetingrooms.com/index.php/2010/05/20/todays-theme-is-on-smarter-travel/

  1. Thank you for encouraging debate.
The debate rages, however regarding Ireland’s economy we are in a cycle of shock, lack of corrective action and mismanagement. There is no deficit of words, just clear thought and action.
There is a blog of daily updated poems on the Irish economy and how we really feel from someone who has engaged the debate head-on
